Dino Prizmic vs Cruz Hewitt prediction
Dino Prizmic has endured a difficult couple of months, losing four of his last five matches overall. He was forced to retire in the second-round of his home event at the Croatia Open against Alex Molcan. He took the first set in Cincinnati against Cameron Norrie in his opening match, before losing 3-6 6-1 6-4. Prizmic then lost to Alexis Galarneau in his next encounter at the Quebec City Challenger, despite entering the tournament as the seventh seed. His best results occurred during the clay court season, as he beat Novak Djokovic on his way to the round-of-16 at the Italian Open and also reached the final of a Challenger event in Monza.
He faces Cruz Hewitt in the first-round. The 17-year-old, who is the son of former world number one and two-time Grand Slam champion Lleyton, broke new ground in July by qualifying for the Washington Open before claiming his first tour-level win with a comfortable victory over Marcos Giron. He then competed in Southhaven on the ITF circuit, making the quarter-finals.
Hewitt has already shown that he can trouble top 100 players at ATP level, while Prizmic is struggling to pick up wins at the moment.
