THE PREDICTION

Brentford return to Griffin Park following a 1-1 draw with high flying Swansea midweek, in which Thomas Frank’s side will have been furious not to have come away from South Wales with three points after playing against ten men for the last 20 minutes. They’ll be hoping to take their frustrations out on Wycombe, who currently sit bottom of the Championship on 15 points. This contest is very much a mismatch, with Brentford boasting far superior quality within their squad, not to mention home advantage. Wycombe will no doubt set up with men behind the ball looking to make themselves as hard as possible to break down. The Bees though will expect such tactics and when taking into account their creativity going forward, it does look too big of a challenge for Gareth Ainsworth men to hold out for 90 minutes. Anything less than a home win here would be considered a huge shock.
