THE PREDICTION
Rock-bottom Beerschot desperately need to continue in the same vein with which they entered the international break after they took four points from two games against RFC Seraing and Kortrijk. They went into the break seven points from safety in a huge contrast to this time last November where they were topping the table under previous manager Hernan Losada. New head coach Javier Torrente, another Argentine, has been able to get more of a tune out of his side and with time in the break to further implement ideas there is the slightest scent of an upset about this home match against Genk. The visitors also took four points from their last two matches but a 1-1 draw at home to Cercle Brugge before the break is fairly poor and three defeats from their last four on the road is a real concern. This match has a dodgy air about it and should be kept away from an accumulator but taking it to see over 2.5 goals between two sides capable of contributing to big scorelines on their best days looks a way in here.
