THE PREDICTION

Cabo Verde will compete in a third Africa Cup of Nations after a solid qualifying campaign in which they were unbeaten in their six games but if they are to enjoy success in the tournament proper, they will need to turn draws into wins. They managed just two successes during qualifying but they face an Ethiopia side with just one win to their name in their last five outings in all competitions. They advanced to the AFCON with three wins and three losses from Group K but with Cabo Verde proving so difficult to beat, Ethiopia are unlikely to earn the win in this one with a point the best they can hope for.
