Brazilian giants Fluminense are taking on Argentinian outfit Platense in the quarter-finals of the CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores this midweek.

Fluminense vs Platense prediction
Fluminense come into this one on the back of Vasco da Gama in the Brazilian Serie A, where they sit fourth in the table. They defeated Argentine minnows Independiente Rivadavio on penalties in the round of 16 last month.
Platense most recently shared a 1-1 draw with Deportivo Riestra at the weekend, meaning that they have now won just one of their last seven matches inside 90 minutes. They edged past Coquimbo on penalties in the previous round.
Fluminense have to be viewed as firm favourites for this quarter-final tie and especially for this first-leg with their home advantage.
