England vs India prediction

India desperately needs a spark after such a disappointing T20i series and they’ll hope that their deadly trio can provide them with that as we turn to the ODIs. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli should add a significant volume of runs, not to mention leadership in the field, whilst fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah will inject a massive wicket taking threat with the ball.

England have the momentum following their excellent performances across the T20i games, but they are nowhere near as strong in ODI cricket and you could certainly argue that for India, they are a far better team in the format. Add Rohit and Kohli into the mix and the value play is to back the tourists to begin the ODIs with a much-needed win.
