England vs Chile prediction
Despite picking up four points across pool play in the first round, it wasn’t enough for England to advance. India held them to a 0-0 draw to secure second-place in their pool with China finishing top. Ranked number seven in the world heading into the World Cup, England are the highest ranked nation not to reach the second round, cause for further disappointment.
They are a significantly strong team than Chile, who picked up just a single point across their first-round campaign. They conceded at least two goals in each of their three matches and against an England side with good offensive pieces, it’s hard to see Chile matching their production. Therefore, back an England victory.
