Wales and Malaysia have both struggled hugely over the course of this tournament, mainly from a defensive standpoint. Conceding goals has been a regularity, with Wales giving up a whopping 24 goals across five matches, never once shipping less than three in a game. Malaysia have conceded 16 goals in comparison, still a large amount but not compared to their opponents.
Such has been the nature of this Welsh defence and how easy it’s been to score against them, this is certainly Malaysia’s best chance to grab a win. Whilst Wales should get on the scoresheet themselves, back Malaysia to better however many they put on the board and ultimately triumph in a five-goal-game or more.
