Belgium vs Australia prediction
Belgium put up an admirable fight against tournament favourites Netherlands but couldn’t muster up the offense to beat them, losing by one goal to nil. Australia were also beaten 1-0, in their case by Argentina, setting up this bronze medal match. You would expect this one to be a much higher-scoring affair with both teams no doubt frustrated at their lack of offence in the semi-finals.
Although there is a bronze medal at stake, neither side will feel as much pressure having failed to make the final. Don’t be surprised to see Belgium and Australia take more risks from an attacking point of view, which should lead to more goals. Therefore, consider backing over 4.5 goals to be scored, regardless of who claims the bronze.
