Elche come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Real Betis at La Cartuja in Seville in midweek. That means that they begin this weekend's penultimate round of fixtures sitting just outside of the bottom three and the danger zone on goal difference.
They now face a Getafe side that, coached by Jose Bordalas, have ensured their effective and efficient, aggressive style is once again getting results as they begin the match day tucked inside the top seven after their comfortable 3-1 defeat of Real Mallorca.
Getafe produced one of their best performances of the season the other day and they will be a very difficult and awkward opponent for an often chaotic and inconsistent Elche.
