PLAY-OFFS PREDICTION
Premier League table-topper Gerwyn Price goes into the Play-Offs as the bookies’ favourite to clinch the first Premier League Darts title of his career, and he has certainly been the most consistent player throughout the league phase. 2021 champion Jonny Clayton is standing in his way in the semi-final though, and having won a Players Championship event over the weekend, is certainly in the kind of form capable of seeing off his fellow Welshman.
Michael Smith is our tip to go all the way though. The reigning world champion won three of the last four league nights and his semi-final opponent Michael van Gerwen has hardly had ideal preparation given that he has been battling an arm injury in the run-up to this event. If Smith can navigate his way through to the final, his new-found confidence gained from being a major title winner can take him all the way.
