Three-time BDO world champion Glen Durrant’s darting struggles since he won the 2020 Premier League have been well documented but he has claimed that the worst is behind him as he prepares for his third appearance at the PDC World Darts Championship. William O’Connor will fancy this though, especially after he came through a tough first-round game with Danny Lauby last Thursday during which he averaged over 96. Neutrals will hope to see Durrant improve on some of his dismal displays in recent times, but it is difficult to imagine him improving enough to overcome O’Connor here.
