DELHI BULLS
- Delhi Bulls got their Abu Dhabi T10 campaign off to an excellent start with a comprehensive win over Deccan Gladiators on Friday as skipper and icon player Eoin Morgan played an outstanding innings with the bat to guide them to victory.
- His unbeaten 52 from just 27 balls was the standout innings and he continued his good form from the ODI series in New Zealand where he led England to a 3-2 victory while it was his bowlers who laid the foundation for the victory with an economical display despite only taking one of the Gladiators wickets.
- There is every chance that they will go unchanged here once again and Morgan will almost certainly want to chase and put the Tuskers batting under pressure right from the start of this game.
KARNATAKA TUSKERS
- Karnataka Tuskers come into this first Abu Dhabi T10 match coached by the renowned Tom Moody, and they have Hashim Amla as their icon player and captain though his record in the shorter formats of the game has not been great in recent times.
- They will not able to count upon Evin Lewis and Fabian Allen until the West Indies T20 series against Afghanistan comes to an end but they still possess some strong Caribbean talent in Johnson Charles and Marlon Samuels.
- The Tuskers have also brought in specialist T20 bowlers in Sandeep Lamichhane and Pat Brown, and while their batting does not quite look as formidable as others, they will hope their bowling attack can play a key part for them.
THE PREDICTION
Delhi Bulls looked extremely strong in their opening win on Friday against Deccan Gladiators and Eoin Morgan in particular looks in incredible nick already. Their batting firepower is immense and it still has plenty more to come. While the Tuskers’ bowlers unit is talented, they will have a tough time slowing this Delhi batting line-up down and their batsmen will struggle to match so the Bulls can make it two wins from two here.
