OTAGO VOLTS
- Otago Volts can count themselves unlucky not to have a win to their name so far in the Super Smash, after their second match of the tournament against Northern Brave was abandoned due to rain with the Brave struggling at 106/6 batting first, so with good weather forecast, the Volts will be looking to pick up where they left off here.
- With their batters having not had any chances at the crease and their bowlers having performed well in the 13 overs managed against the Brave, the expectation is that Otago will name an unchanged side.
NORTHERN BRAVE
- Northern Brave are yet to play a completed fixture in this season’s Super Smash having had the opening contest against Otago Volts spoiled by the rain, although with the Brave on the back foot, they were likely not complaining about picking up two points.

Provided the Volts maintain those high standards set with the ball then it is likely that this Northern Brave batting line-up will once again find themselves struggling, with the discipline and variation of Otago’s bowling unit making them very difficult to play against.
