THE PREDICTION
After topping the Lanka Premier League table with six wins from their eight matches played, Jaffna Kings. However, successive defeats to Galle Gladiators including most recently in the first qualifier sees them now fighting just to get into the final. Dambulla Giants finished fourth-place in comparison, but victory in the eliminator against Colombo Stars saw them advance into this second qualifier. Jaffna Kings will understandably enter this match as favourites, but the Giants are not to be underestimated, with momentum being in their favour. However, the Kings have plenty of experience within their side to overcome their recent blip and against a side they comfortably defeated twice in the group stage, bowling them out for 110 and 69 respectively, it is expected that they will bounce back here and secure their place in the final.
