India were far too good in the first ODI of the series against West Indies as they ran out five-wicket victors. It was a dominant performance from the Indians as they skittled the hosts for just 114 with Kuldeep Yadav mopping up the tail to finish with incredible figures of 4-6. In response, Ishan Kushan hit a half-century to set the chase underway in solid fashion and despite losing five wickets, it was still a straightforward success. The bowling efforts of the Windies mean they have a glimmer of hope moving forward here but it is unlikely to be good enough to see them prevail and the Indians are set to be too strong once again.
