THE PREDICTION
Pakistan and Afghanistan were both victors in their opening match of
the tournament and will now meet to see which side is in the driving
seat to finish top of Group C. Afghanistan wasted little time in
dispatching the challenge of Papua New Guinea as they skittled their
opponents for just 65 to claim a 135-run success, although they will
need to be better with the bat in this clash as they were bowled out in
38.2 overs. Pakistan had no such issues as they powered their way to 315
runs against Zimbabwe before bowling their opponents for 200 to also
claim a big win. Both teams will fancy their chances here but Pakistan
appear to be the better-rounded outfit and they should make it
back-to-back wins.
