THE LOWDOWN
Vasiliy Lomachenko (15-2) bounced back from losing his three world titles to Teofimo Lopez as he produced a strong performance to down Masayoshi Nakatani back in June. The Ukrainian will now look to work his way towards another world title shot and after producing a KO to stop his Japanese opponent last time out, Lomachenko will again be keen to put on a show to demonstrate he is still an elite fighter.
Richard Commey (30-3) is vastly more experienced than opponent Vasiliy Lomachenko and he will hope that counts for something as the pair do battle here. Commey is a real weapon at lightweight having produced 27 KOs from his 30 victories, his latest coming against Jackson Marinez back at the start of the year. He too was able to respond to a loss to Teofimo Lopez in which he was KO’d for the first time in his career but that fate could be set to reoccur in this bout.

Vasiliy Lomachenko will be out to make a statement as he faces a tricky opponent in the form of Richard Commey. Both men are capable of causing damage with their respective KO records speaking for themselves. However, Lomachenko has mixed it with the best during his career and looks a class above his opponent with his quality set to tell here by producing the 12th KO of his career.
