Blackbeard has produced three wins from three and improved with each run at the start of the colt’s fledgling career. Landed a Group 3 success at the Curragh last month and did so comfortably and this track is expected to suit so expect another strong challenge for a yard that loves this race.

Coroebus only has one blemish to his name having won three of his four races in the early stages of his career. He is the one to beat in this field for the St. James’ Palace Stakes having produced the goods in superb style in the 2000 Guineas back in April and that victory sets a high standard.
