Houston Texans have been very competitive in their last three outings and were rewarded with a win over Tennessee Titans last week. They will hope to build on that as they go in search of just a third win of the season but come up against an in-form Jacksonville Jaguars. The road team have won their last three while they have lost just one of their last five and while they may have enough to win here, the Texans can keep it close so it is worth siding with the home team who benefit from a start on the spread.
Prediction: Houston Texans to cover +6 spread
San Francisco 49ers @ Las Vegas Raiders - 4:05pm ET
Las Vegas Raiders have finally lost patience with QB Derek Carr and he has been benched for this Week 17 clash with San Francisco 49ers. Jarrett Stidham will lineup under center but he faces a tough matchup against a stout 49ers defense. The 49ers have been superb of late and have now won eight straight after getting the better of Washington Commanders last week. The Raiders will hope a change of QB helps them here but it is hard to see beyond the road team winning this comfortably.
Prediction: San Francisco 49ers to cover -9 spread
