Belgium vs Puerto Rico prediction
Belgium came out of the traps flying following half-time against Turkiye, winning the third quarter 27-9 which laid the foundation for an 89-75 win overall for Mike Thibault’s side. As expected, Emma Meesseman was the star for the Belgian Cats, adding 27 points including nine rebounds. When she’s clicking, Belgium click and Puerto Rico are in for a long four quarters trying to contain her.
This Puerto Rican side struggled from an attacking point of view against Australia, putting up just 54 points but they did restrict the Opals to just 70 themselves, notable when considering Australia’s strong squad. Meesseman is a different beast though and it would be no surprise to see her rack up another 25+-point-game in a Belgium victory.
