Australia vs Belgium prediction
Both of these two teams have enjoyed a relatively routine passage through to the next round, with Belgium and Australia both beating Puerto Rico and Turkiye. Whilst Belgium have scored my points, they’ve also conceded slightly more than the Opals, setting the stage for an intriguing encounter here in Berlin.
There is very little to choose between these two and the margin of victory is expected to be small either way. However, what tips the scales slightly in Australia’s favour is Belgium’s tendency to run out of gas late on. They’ve lost each of the two fourth quarters played so far and with that in mind, the shrewd move may well be to back the Aussies.
