This will be the first Premier League meeting between the two sides.
Leicester have not beaten Brighton since 2012. Since then there have been three encounters between the two sides and they have resulted in a draw and two wins for Brighton.
The last six clashes between the two sides have all been in the Championship.
The last time these two sides met, Leonardo Ulloa scored twice. However, this was not in a Leicester shirt as his brace of goals helped Brighton cruise to a 4-1 win over The Foxes.
Another player who has worn both of these clubs’ colours is Anthony Knockaert who first played for Leicester but now plies his trade with Brighton.
Both sides share identical form over the last six competitive fixtures (W-W-L-L-D-L).
This will be just the 30th clash between the two sides and Brighton just have the edge when it comes to the all-time head-to-head record - Brighton W13, Leicester W11, D5.
The first encounter between these two clubs was back in 1931, when Brighton would end up 2-1 winners in January of that year in an FA Cup third round tie.
