  • St Helens maintained their 100% record as they made it seven wins from seven as they blitzed Castleford in a dominant performance last week to maintain their place at the top of the Super League table.

  • Saints have managed to avoid injuries all season and look to have come through the game against the Tigers with a clean bill of health again after naming the same 19-man squad as last week.

  • Justin Holbrook has no real reason to revert away from the 17 that took to the field last week but may opt to rest any of his troops that are carrying a niggle in order to give some game time to the likes of Kyle Amor and Aaron Smith.

  • Hull KR suffered a heavy defeat against fellow injury-hit side Huddersfield with Rovers conceding 42 points in the big loss and now face a daunting trip to Super League leaders St Helens.

  • Rovers have received some good news on the injury front this week with Kane Linnett, Ben Crooks and Mitch Garbutt all returning to the squad but they are still without numerous players.

  • Danny McGuire and Robbie Mulhern were added to the injury list before last week’s game but could both return next week although that still leaves Rovers short in the pack with five forwards out.

THE PREDICTION

The last thing Hull KR will want is a trip to St Helens but that is what they must face this week. The injury-hit Robins are missing lots of first-teamers and were heavily defeated by Huddersfield last week whilst Saints did similar to Castleford and the league leaders will win comfortably again. Rovers are struggling with injuries but even at full strength would have found it tough, especially if Saints can replicate the same level of performance that they produced against Castleford last week.
