- Salford put in a superb display but had their hearts broken by a last-gasp St. Helens try that cost the Red Devils the two points although that performance will give them plenty to work with this week.
- The Red Devils may opt to field the same 17 this week after such a brilliant effort against Saints with Ian Watson delighted with his side and should see no reason to make any changes.
- There is just one change to the 19-man squad with Ben Nakubuwai, who did not feature last week, making way for Jake Bibby which could indicate that one of the outside backs are carrying a knock ahead of this game.

- Hull KR have now lost five consecutive Super League matches after they slipped to defeat at relegation rivals Huddersfield and ended Round 15 level on points with both London and Leeds at the foot of the table.
- Rovers have announced that Nick Scruton and Lee Jewitt have left the club with immediate effect with the former retiring from the game whilst Junior Vaivai and Will Oakes have gone to Championship club York on a one-month loan.
- Mose Masoe is back in the 19-man squad after he recovered from a hand injury and is joined by Shaun Lunt to give Rovers more options in the pack whilst Will Dagger could also come into the reckoning as the final new face in the squad.
THE PREDICTION
Salford will be out for revenge as they face a Hull KR side that knocked them out of the Challenge Cup recently. The Red Devils almost became the first team to beat league leaders St. Helens on home soil last week but that kind of performance should earn them the win here. The challenge for Salford will be replicating the effort they produced last week but with Rovers struggling for form, this presents a great chance for the Red Devils to get back to winning ways.
