- Wests Tigers put up a good fight against Sydney Roosters but ultimately fell short as they failed to back up their win over South Sydney and now face a tricky test against a Parramatta side that have won their last two.
- The Tigers will be hoping Robert Jennings will be available following a nasty head gash but the indications are that he will be fit and he looks set to take to the wing once again for his side.
- Wests captain Moses Mbye will return to the line-up after he started in Origin for Queensland during the week and he will continue plying his trade at centre with Corey Thompson retaining the fullback jersey with Paul Momirovski the man to make way.

- Parramatta made it back-to-back wins as they hit back from 0-16 down to defeat Canberra in their last game to boost their play-off hopes and will be looking to make it three wins in a row against one of their rivals for a top 8 spot.
- The Eels have opted to stick with the same side that defeated Canberra with the exception of one alteration to the bench with Marata Niukore earning a place in the 17 in place of Peni Terepo.
- Brad Arthur will be hoping he will have even more options at his disposal next week with several of his fringe players featuring in reserve grade this week whilst Michael Jennings has a chance of returning from injury.
THE PREDICTION
The last time these two met, Parramatta ran in 51 points against Wests Tigers but the Eels come into this as the away team although that should not affect their mind-set too much as they look to take advantage of playing at Bankwest Stadium. This should be quite an open game and can go either way but there is plenty on the line with the race for the top 8 becoming an intense race. Parramatta have played the better football out of the two teams recently and they can make it three wins in a row here.
