- Brisbane and New Zealand Warriors could not be separated as they played out a thrilling draw to move three points outside of the top 8 but must win this game to keep in touch with those teams above them.
- The Broncos avoided any injuries last week and head coach Anthony Seibold will once again rely on his young guns across the park with Herbie Farnworth retaining his spot in the centres.

- Canterbury made it two wins in a row as they defeated Newcastle last week to move two points clear of Gold Coast at the foot of the ladder and will see this trip to Brisbane as an opportunity to make it three successive victories.
- The Bulldogs' win last week was even more impressive due to missing Kieran Foran but he is set to miss out again after failing to prove his fitness whilst Canterbury have been hit by another two injuries.
- Sauaso Sue suffered an ACL injury last week which will end his season whilst Aiden Tolman will sit out due to a rib injury to force a reshuffle in the pack with Ofahiki Ogden promoted to the run-on side and Danny Fualalo comes onto the bench.
THE PREDICTION
Brisbane are in last chance saloon when it comes to making the play-offs with their chances fading despite picking up a point last week. They are only three points behind the top 8 but have plenty of teams ahead of them although they can pick up a valuable win here against an improving Canterbury. The Bulldogs will not be an easy match-up for the Broncos following their upturn in their performance levels over the last two games but with Brisbane’s season arguably on the line here, they can find enough to win at Suncorp.
