- Ulster are second in Conference B at the moment having lost just once so far this season. In their last league game, they edged past Bennetton 15-10 although since then, they have had a friendly match with Uruguay.
- South African Louis Ludik is likely to make his first appearance of the season having been out of action since suffering a hamstring injury last season.
- Due to the recent retirement of Ulster forwards Jean Deysel, Chris Henry and Peter Browne, they have signed Leinster’s second row Ian Nagle on a loan deal until the end of the season.
THE PREDICTION
Having both made strong starts to the season, Scarlets and Ulster will be looking to continue those hot beginnings. A win for Scarlets would see them leapfrog Ulster into second in the table but Ulster could pull away with a win. Scarlets will be without a large contingent of their squad due to the ongoing internationals so Ulster could capitalise as a result.
