Lu Ning

• Ning had his best result of the season by winning three matches to reach the last 16 of the Northern Ireland Open where he eventually lost 4-0 to Englishman David Gilbert.

THE PREDICTION

McGill and Ning have met once before at the 2018 European Masters with McGill securing a comfortable 4-1 win. Although Lu Ning has shown recent good form, the challenge encountered by McGill will be too strong and the Scotsman should advance to the next round.
