United States vs New Zealand prediction
United States were beaten just once during the first round in Pool B but that wound up being enough to send them crashing out. Only beating bottom-placed Scotland by a one goal margin hurt them and defeat against Germany in the final set of fixtures, combined with an Argentina victory vs the Scots consigned USA to the classification round.
When comparing these two teams, the USA have played better hockey than New Zealand over the course of the tournament. Whilst motivation may be low following their elimination, expect the Americans to pick themselves up in time for this game and comfortably defeat New Zealand.
