Matheus Camilo: Can "Jaguar" produce another memorable finish?
Matheus Camilo (11-3) rides the momentum of an extremely impressive win in his last fight into the cage on Saturday night. "Jaguar" left the Baku crowd speechless with a quick KO over Nazim Sadykhov, bombing "Black Wolf" out cold in less than a round to hand him his first stoppage loss in the promotion. A heavy-handed wrestler who is extremely active with pursuing his takedowns, Camilo looks to have righted the ship following a rough loss to Gabe Green in his debut; the 25 year old Brazilian hasn't lost since, posting victories over Viacheslav Borschev and the aforementioned Sadykhov to kickstart his UFC career in earnest.
Jai Herbert: "The Black Country Banger" looks to showcase his veteran craft
A hardened veteran of the lightweight division, it seems extremely unfair on Jai Herbert (14-6-1) that he's still best known as the fighter who found himself on the wrong end of one of Ilia Topuria's most brutal KOs. A former Cage Warriors champion, Herbert has struggled to maintain momentum since making the jump to the UFC, posting a 4-5-1 record in that time. However, it's worth noting that "The Black Country Banger" has had a stiff strength of schedule and has consistently acquitted himself well in most of his fights. He enters this matchup following an impressive KO over Mandel Nallo last time out in enemy territory.

Co-main event? Yikes. Neither of these men are within a country mile of the rankings.
In any case, as much as I love Herbert, I think he could get put away here. The Englishman has been on a decent run since a nightmarish KO loss to Ilia Topuria; he’s only been denied victory by some really solid names outside of the rankings and was competitive in all of those matchups. He also has a significant height and reach advantage heading into this one.
However, I really rate Camilo’s win over Nazim Sadykhov. “Black Wolf” had only lost to Fares Ziam prior to that matchup and Camilo made things look fairly easy against him; he was primarily known as a grappler beforehand and showcased some real power. Herbert is also 38 years old and has absorbed a ton of damage over the course of many wars and some brutal KO defeats.
Furthermore, “Jaguar” has a solid grappling game to call upon if things go pear shaped on the feet, an area of the fight where he looks to have a significant advantage over a striker like “The Black Country Banger.” Even if he doesn’t bomb Herbert with something fight ending in the early goings, he looks to have more ways to win this fight across three rounds.
Prediction: Matheus Camilo to win
