Kelvin Gastelum: Seasoned warrior fighting to prove he’s not done
Kelvin Gastelum (19-10) returns to action as one of the most experienced fighters on the UFC roster. The 33-year-old American holds a 13-10 UFC record and has faced a murderer’s row in the middleweight division, including Israel Adesanya, Robert Whittaker, Chris Weidman and Michael Bisping.
Despite his credentials, Gastelum looks well past his prime. He dropped a clear decision to Joe Pyfer in his last outing, and in recent years has been hampered by inconsistency, discipline issues and weight problems. That said, Gastelum still has one of the best chins in the UFC, strong boxing fundamentals and solid wrestling in his back pocket. He’s a gritty southpaw who thrives in a scrap, though at 5’9” he remains undersized for middleweight.
Dustin Stoltzfus: Looking to turn opportunity into a career-defining win
Dustin Stoltzfus (16-7) has struggled for consistency in the UFC, with a 3-6 record. The 33-year-old American is coming off a loss to surging prospect Nursulton Ruziboev but scored an impressive knockout over Marc-André Barriault in the fight before that.
Stoltzfus is a finisher with heavy hands and strong jiu-jitsu. However, he tends to fade in fights and has a habit of getting caught when trying to push the pace. His unpredictable form makes him dangerous but unreliable when it comes to picking up wins at this level.

This is a significant step down in competition for Gastelum, who has spent the majority of his career fighting elite opposition. While questions remain about his form and focus, he still holds advantages in striking, wrestling and experience. Unless Gastelum is completely off his game, he should have too much for Stoltzfus in every area and secure a straightforward victory.
