Tottenham vs Elfsborg Prediction
Although Tottenham are assured of progressing to at least the play-offs, they cannot afford to relax here as even a draw may see them slip out of the top eight, and with it automatic qualification to the round of 16.
As you'd expect from a Premier League side, Spurs have been one of the stronger teams in the Europa League but Ange Postecoglou's injury-plagued side have won only one of their last four European games coming into this contest.
Opponents Elfsborg, meanwhile, have put themselves in a position to make the play-offs after back-to-back home wins in the competition. However, the Swedish outfit have lost all three of their away games in the league phase so far, and will surely struggle to contain the Premier League side.
Although Postecoglou is a man under pressure, he should be able to field a team strong enough to overcome Elfsborg here. The hosts remain defensively fragile and may concede along he way, but a Spurs win is predicted.
