29-year-old Gregoire Barrere set a new career-high ATP world ranking of 55th this week after a strong run to the third round of the Italian Open saw him come back from a set down to stun Karen Khachanov. The Frenchman will be well-backed by the home supporters here in Lyon and a strong win over compatriot Corentin Moutet on Sunday is a solid way to start his campaign ahead of this tough draw.
