Aryna Sabalenka vs Marta Kostyuk prediction

Aryna Sabalenka’s march through another draw continues after she stormed back from a set down to sink Sofia Kenin.

The Belarusian chalked up a 17th win in her last 18 with a 3-6 6-3 6-3 victory over the American to tee up another clash against Marta Kostyuk.

The world number one leads the match-up 3-0, winning all three previous encounters in straight sets, including a narrow 7-6 7-6 triumph over the Ukrainian in Madrid recently. 

Kostyuk is also flying at present and made short work of Leylah Fernandez in the third round. 

The world number 27 has not dropped a set in Rome but knows Sabalenka has been a major hurdle she has yet to get over.

If the top seed has an off day Kostyuk will be there to strike, but they are rare nowadays and it’s hard to back against the three-time Grand Slam champion.
