THE PREDICTION

World number 43 Jack Draper reached the quarter-finals of the Munich Open last week and took the first set from eventual runner-up Taylor Fritz before a deciding tiebreak defeat. The 22-year-old is at his least effective on clay, with his powerful serve and groundstrokes favouring the faster surfaces, but he is improving all the time on tour as his so far injury-prone frame looks to be strengthening.

World number 93 Thanasi Kokkinakis knows all too well what it is like to struggle with injuries throughout your career. The Aussie, once something of a prodigal youth, has struggled to find anything like his best level for much of the past two seasons on tour despite finally maintaining an uninhibited presence on it. Two straight-set wins in qualifying suggest the similarly powerful 28-year-old will be competitive in this third meeting between the two and their previous results, Draper claiming the first in the Davis Cup Group Stage last summer and Kokkinakis returning the favour at Los Cabos in February, say this could be another epic. Three of their six sets played so far have seen tiebreaks, so take at least one here to leave the result up to chance.

TIP: OVER 0.5 TIEBREAKS
