World number 210 Su Jeong Jang blasted through the Australian Open qualifiers to make her Grand Slam debut at 25 years old. The South Korean found plenty of success on the ITF circuit last season and her momentum from the qualifiers will be a tough force to stop for world number 98 Danka Kovinic, whose last tour-level win came at the Tenerife Ladies Open last October.
