The teenager will set a new career-high WTA world ranking of 88th for her efforts and she brings some solid momentum on clay into this first encounter with Cirstea after qualifying without dropping a set earlier this week. 34-year-old Cirstea was a Masters semi-finalist at Dubai back in February to remain the favourite here but consider backing Fruhvirtova to earn at least a set whilst keeping this match far from any promising accumulators.
