THE PREDICTION

25-year-old Stefanos Tsitsipas moved back up to world number seven after a restorative week in Monte-Carlo saw him win the title for a third time, impressively seeing off the likes of Alexander Zverev and Jannik Sinner before dismissing Casper Ruud in the final. The Greek has finished runner-up three times in Barcelona, including last season to the absent Carlos Alcaraz, and he should be considered a serious contender after hitting the ground running in straight sets against Sebastian Ofner on Wednesday to make it seven wins on the spin. World number 72 Roberto Carballes Baena upset 10th seed Lorenzo Musetti for a hugely impressive result on his favoured clay but he looks to have missed the boat against Tsitsipas, whose confidence is surging again after a poor two years. Home support for RCB should make this an entertaining watch but Tsitsipas leads their head-to-head 2-0n and he can be backed to take this third in straight sets.

TIP: STEFANOS TSITSIPAS TO WIN 2-0
