This could be a proper thriller on Saturday between two one-handed backhanders in world number three Stefanos Tsitsipas and number 40 Richard Gasquet. 36-year-old Gasquet claimed the 16th ATP title of his career earlier this year at the Auckland Classic as he continues to enjoy some renaissance form on tour and there is more than a scent of an upset about this match as Tsitsipas comes in low on confidence in his game and his body. The 24-year-old played down his chances at the start of Indian Wells before losing to Jordan Thompson in three sets but he should be a little better for it two weeks on and the conditions favour game in a match-up that promises plenty of long rallies. The two have not met on tour since a win apiece in 2018 but this third encounter should eventually edge the Greek’s way. Take Tsitsipas to win outright here but it is probably wise to leave this match out of an accumulator.
