The 19-year-old won her maiden WTA title at the Osaka Open last season on hardcourts but she looks capable on clay too to suggest she can make a decent dent here in Madrid. World number 85 Nao Hibino brings a two-match losing streak into Madrid since a big career day in beating Venus Williams at Indian Wells early last month. The 29-year-old also won a surprise title last summer, stunning the filed at the Prague Open in August, but she has struggled to match that level consistently since.
