21-year-old Marta Kostyuk brings a career-high WTA world ranking to match her age into Madrid after finishing runner-up to Elena Rybakina at the Stuttgart Open on Sunday. The Ukrainian has been on tour for some time after bursting onto the scene as a promising teenager but she finally looks ready to realise that potential in 2024, reaching the quarter-finals of the Australian Open and the semi-finals at Indian Wells last month with a blossoming game.
