World number 96 Daria Saville fell in three sets to Jaqueline Cristian in qualifying on Tuesday but she could be a dangerous draw on the second wind of a lucky loser in this first encounter with Hailey Baptiste. 22-year-old Baptiste qualified well, conceding just two games to Rebecca Sramkova yesterday, but the American is significantly less experience on clay than former number 20 Saville, who looked strong in Charleston before a second round exit to Elina Svitolina.
