FRANCISCO CERUNDOLO VS FILIP MISOLIC PREDICTION
World number 27 Francisco Cerundolo beat Yannick Hanfmann in straight sets on Monday for a solid start to his Roland-Garros campaign. The 25-year-old should be confident of rolling through to the third round in this winnable fixture over qualifier Filip Misolic but it has been an odd season so far, with the Argentine bringing much poorer form into Paris than the level that saw him almost upset Holger Rune in the round of 16 last spring.
World number 243 Misolic came back from a set down to beat Quentin Halys in the final round of qualifying and he came back from two sets to oust lucky loser Otto Virtanen on Monday. The 22-year-old has already spent over eight hours on court over the past fortnight in Paris and that could prove a big factor in this second meeting with Cerundolo, who beat the Austrian in Vienna in their previous encounter two years ago.
Cerundolo should be blasting through this match in straight sets at his best but the sensible concession is an outright win here.
