THE PREDICTION
This is a really tough call between two players far from their best on clay and both, arguably, struggling to find their best tennis. World number 20 Adrian Mannarino enjoyed the best year of his career in 2023, winning three of his now five ATP titles, but the Frenchman has gone off the boil since a heroic run to the round of 16 at the Australian Open in January and he comes in cold on clay after missing Monte-Carlo earlier this month. Former number six Felix Auger-Aliassime came back from a set down to beat tricky left-hander Yoshihito Nishioka on Thursday and that could give the Canadian an edge against another southpaw in Mannarino. The 23-year-old reached the quarter-finals of the Munich Open las week, losing to eventual champion Jan-Lennard Struff in straight sets, but a 4-2 record on clay this month suggests he has enough to make the last 16. Take the Canadian to win outright.
TIP: FELIX AUGER-ALIASSIME TO WIN
