THE PREDICTION

World number 119 Christopher Eubanks qualified well this week before beating Denis Kudla in straight sets on Thursday but the American has never reached the third round of a Masters before. 26-year-old Eubanks impressed earlier this year with wins over Ugo Humbert and Soonwoo Kwon but he has not been rewarded with a kind draw here against world number 20 Borna Coric. The Croat, also 26, was stunned at this stage of Indian Wells two weeks ago by Alex Molcan but he should be better for a rest since then after recently struggling with some fitness issues. Coric has struggled to match his level from late last season, where he won his first Masters title in Cincinnati, but it would be a surprise to see him fall to Eubanks in this first meeting between the two. The suitably cautious move is taking Coric to win outright but you could consider adding at least a tiebreak outside of an accumulator.
