BARBORA KREJCIKOVA VS VIKTORIJA GOLUBIC PREDICTION
Former world number two Barbora Krejcikova brought some excellent clay form into Roland-Garros in 2021 but her run to the title still came as a huge surprise, having established herself as a doubles specialist on tour. The 28-year-old has won seven WTA titles overall, five since Roland-Garros, but her most recent came at the San Diego 500 last September and she brings a four-match losing streak into the draw with her last win coming in early February.
World number 74 Viktorija Golubic has also struggled with injuries in recent months, with her last tour-level match coming in late January. The Swiss enjoyed a brief return to form before having to sit out but she has played a few matches off-tour in recent weeks and she will be well aware of the nerves her opponent may be facing.
Leave this match out of an accumulator but otherwise consider backing Golubic to snatch a set here with something of a ‘hoodoo’ surrounding Krejcijova’s returns to Paris.
