ASHLYN KRUEGER VS TAMARA KORPATSCH PREDICTION
20-year-old Ashlyn Krueger set a career-high WTA world ranking of 64th earlier this month after stunning Ekaterina Alexandrova en-route to the third round of the Madrid Masters. The American won her maiden WTA title at the Osaka Open last October, on a hardcourt, but het clay results have been just as promising so far this swing – with eventual Charleston Open runner-up Daria Kasatkina needing a deciding set to oust here there last month.
World number 79 Tamara Korpatsch has not played since Charleston, bringing a five-match losing streak and very little recent practice into Roland-Garros, but she earned her maiden WTA title at the Transylvania Open late last season to prove there is potential for more in her game.
