THE PREDICTION
This should be a fascinating final between world number five Andrey Rublev, the top seed here in Hong Kong, and number 69 Emil Ruusuvuori in uncharted waters. 24-year-old Ruusuvuori is far better than his current deflated ranking suggests but a maiden tour final is a surprise this early in the season after a drab 2023 suggested there was plenty of work to do.
