World number 20 Reilly Opelka comes into this quarter-final on a five-match winning streak after winning his third ATP tour title at the Dallas Open last weekend. The 24-year-old had to come back from a set down to overcome Jack Sock on Thursday but he looks a real threat for a final place at least at the Delray Beach Open, where he won his second ATP tour title in 2020. World number 53 Adrian Mannarino will not be pleased to see Opelka for the second week running given the American beat him in straight sets at this exact stage of the Dallas Open last week. The Frenchman has been enjoying some strong form in 2022, with a first round of 16 reached at the Australian Open before losing to eventual champion Rafael Nadal, but Opelka leading this head-to-head record 2-0 is pretty convincing. The home crowd should help too, with Opelka likely to win in two here.
